Within the past week or so, the city of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) added 2.7 miles of bike lane on Burbank Boulevard. The new Burbank Blvd lanes extend from Radford Avenue (just west of the 170 Freeway) to Hazeltine Avenue (just east of Van Nuys Boulevard.)

The city of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) recently striped new bike lanes on La Tuna Canyon Road in Sun Valley. The new La Tuna bike lanes extend 0.26 miles from Sunland Boulevard to Glenoaks Boulevard.

The city of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) has installed 0.8-mile of new bike lanes on Summerland Avenue. The lanes are located in the neighborhood of San Pedro. South Los Angeles has brand new bike lanes on Second Avenue. The new 2nd Avenue bike lanes extend 0.5 mile from 48th Street to 54th Street. The city of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) has striped new bike lanes in Sun Valley. They’re 1.6 miles long, on Vineland Avenue extending from Vanowen Street to Sunland Boulevard.

It’s Sylmar Friday here at Bikas. About a mile due north of the Laurel Canyon Boulevard bike lanes there are also new bike lanes on Polk Street. The new Polk Street bike lanes extend 0.8 miles from Glenoaks Boulevard to San Fernando Road (north.)

Bikas brings news from San Pedro: new bike lanes on Weymouth Avenue and on 13th Street. 13th turns into Weymouth, so it’s all one continuous 0.8-mile project. The Weymouth bike lanes go 0.2-mile from 9th Street to 13th Street. The lanes continue 0.6-mile on 13th from Weymouth to Alma Street.
