Yesterday, Bikas posted letters from Nightingale Middle School students who are urging the city of Los Angeles to implement new bike lanes on Cypress Avenue and Avenue 28. These two half-mile segments were approved in the city’s 2010 bike plan, but, so far, the city has no timeline for actual implementation. Today we share this video, produced by NMS students with just a tiny bit of help from Bikas. Jackson thought that my suggestions were too picky, but I think they helped make the video a little tighter! They’d already filmed the interviews, and I just helped with a few finishing touches.
